Shopper’s Paradise - Bandra Flea Market

My trip to Mumbai was all about shopping, dining and partying. I usually don’t shop at flea markets mainly because of the fit and feel. But a retail therapy indulgence in Mumbai is incomplete without visiting a flea market. I could not visit other shopping hangouts I had heard about like Coloba Market. But guess, visiting one flea market was enough and I picked up lot of things. It was really a fun and wonderful experience.
There were lot of big duffel bags and sling bags. I picked up a pink sling bag.

Love those tops with polka dots and a lot of striped tees.
The market was flooded with shoes. I bought this multicolored footwear exuding ethnicity which I am wearing in my Boho Chic Look.
The solid colored ballerinas look cute. I got a pair of purple shoes.

P.S. Last 2 days to enter my Giveaway from GLOSSYBOX here. You just need to tell me about your celebrity icon.

Unconditional Love

“The sound of his barking wakes me up from my slumber. I know he’d be lapping up at my toes and reminding me it’s morning. And while I rouse to life, he’s gone again to fetch the day’s news encapsulated in the neatly rolled newspaper. He’d be there when I read the day’s events, listening to me complain about the country’s plight. He’d be there when I make myself a quick french toast, eagerly awaiting a bite his way. He’d be there at the door scratching it in anticipation when I finally decide to step out for some fresh air. Romeo. He never fails to make my day colorful with his antics. “

I was reading this passage and my heart was overwhelmed with love. Emotions were running high and the impact lingered on which made me write this post.
There is no guarantee in life, you never know which path you will end up taking or whether you believe in destiny or believe in carving your own destiny. You don’t know who will be there with you in tough times when your life is fraught with obstacles. But today I am glad and grateful that I have someone who will never leave me till the time he is alive.
He will always be there with me no matter what. He will lay curled up near my feet and snore to glory. He is my best companion who wont turn his back on me. I love you so much, Figo Sarin. My love for you is irrevocable and to be honest irrational.

P.S. I know many people wont even have a vicarious emotion reading this post. There was a time when I never used to come near him. You can read more about it here.

XOXO
Megha Sarin

Look Of The Day - Prints All The Way

These days I am so much into medley of prints like polka dots, stripes, plaids and mixed prints. This post is all about prints and red shoes which stand out. You can probably wear jeggings or pants to give a sophisticated look. I am not in the mood to write much let the pictures do the talking.
Style Tip: If you are wearing a heavy and bold print wear minimal accessories and pair it with neutral or dull colors.

I am wearing
Top - Kazo
Shorts - Vero Moda
Watch - Fossil
Shoes - Lokhandwala Market, Mumbai
Bangles - Khan Market, Delhi
Bag - Guess (worn here too)

It is okay to have your own opinion. It is okay to dislike and even criticize. It is okay to think others are jobless and not worth it. It is okay to be jealous of others and mock at them, grimace and continue brooding over it . But you are nobody to inflict yourself and your beliefs on others. You might harbor resentment but the problems springs up when you raise your voice publicly and when your comments will be a slur on others. Because in the process you will be hurting someone and such actions will only demean the person.
I tell you, everyone has their own beliefs and faith in something, even our own opinions and ideas change. But you cant meddle in or snoop into someone's affairs and look  down on them when nobody came up to you personally.
I would just say lead your own life in a good way. I had read these beautiful lines somewhere, “Work on self improvement so that you don’t have time for criticizing others.”

Look Of The Day - Boho Chic!

Well, this might not be the perfect Bohemian look. I wanted to keep it subtle but may be a funky head accessory would have added more drama. I am wearing a black bag and black neck piece to tone down the look exuding vibrancy as well as a sophisticated touch. P.S. I am happy about the location as usually my photographs are taken indoors.

I am wearing
Bag - Guess
Top - M&S
Pants - Flea Market, Goa
Neck Piece - A store at Hyderabad Airport (can’t remember the name)
Footwear - Bandra Market, Mumbai
