Wedding Extravaganza

What I wear at the Weddings
After a long time, I attended a three day punjabi wedding marathon of a close friend. You know how weddings are. I have not posted proper pictures as there was so much hustle and bustle, drama, mayhem and dancing. During the ceremonies I did manage to pose around and strut my stuff. *wink* Here is a sneak peek!

Look Of The Day - Yummy Neon Orange

Look Of The Day - Yummy Neon Orange

Neon trend has been a rage this season and it is actually challenging to incorporate this trend in your wardrobe. I often shout out loudly that I do not succumb to trends and I am not a fashion victim.
However, neon gives a serious jolt of colour and thought why not seep this trend into my look. I built the whole outfit around these neon orange tights. I didn’t want to overshadow my yummy neon orange tights and leopard printed brogues thus I paired with somber colored pieces.

I am wearing
Top - UCB
Shorts - Remanika
Leopard printed Brogues - Forever New
Bag - Sisley
Neon Orange leggings - Vero Moda
Bangles - Some market (don’t remember)

For those who are viewing this page. I ought to tell you this that It is my opinion and my blog. I am a dictator of taste but I don't inflict myself on you, Period.
It is okay to have your own opinion. It is okay to dislike and even criticize. It is okay to think others are jobless and not worth it. It is okay to be jealous of others and mock at them, grimace and continue brooding over it . But you are nobody to inflict yourself and your beliefs on others. You might harbor resentment but the problems springs up when you raise your voice publicly and when your comments will be a slur on others. Because in the process you will be hurting someone and such actions will only demean the person.
I tell you, everyone has their own beliefs and faith in something, even our own opinions and ideas change. But you cant meddle in or snoop into someone's affairs and look  down on them when nobody came up to you personally.
I would just say lead your own life in a good way. I had read these beautiful lines somewhere, “Work on self improvement so that you don’t have time for criticizing others.”
It is your choice and it is my choice. What choices I make, it defines me. I have all the love for the people who visit my blog and appreciate my efforts and my interests. I would humbly bow down. XOXO.

Get This Look - Makeup Breakdown

Face
- Maybelline BB Cream, Loreal True Match Mineral Foundation, Mac Studio Finish Concealer, Mac Cream Color Base (Hush Frost)
Eyes
- MAC Cream Color Base (Hush Frost)
- NYX Pigment - Ultra Pearl Mania
- MAC Eyeshadow - Vile Violet
- Revlon Cream Shadow
- Deborah (Brow Bone)
- MAC Eye Pencil Black (Upper lash line)
- NYX Turquoise Blue (Waterline)
Lips
- FACES Ultra Pink 09

Eye Make-up
- Dab concealer all around your eye lid and fix it with translucent powder.
- Apply MAC Cream Color Base over the eyelid area and MAC purple eyeshadow all over the lid but below the crease line.
- Use NYX Pigment in the outer corners and blend well in upward and downward direction. You can drag it outwards but I kept it till my eyes.
- Dab Silver cream eyeshadow half way through the lid, blend well and highlight the inner corners again.
- Wear sparkly highlighter on the brow bone and space between the eyebrows and eyes.
- Line your eyes with an eye pencil and waterline to complete the look.
I kept the look soft and not much dramatic as I wore this look for a friend’s wedding! On one eye the silver cream shadow on inner corner is less compared to the other. Sorry, I fixed it later. I would love it if my fellow make-up and beauty bloggers will give their take on this. Next post I will flaunt my wedding outfits. *wink*

P.S. I didn’t really like the BB Cream. I got the one in Radiance. It made me 2 shades darker.
