The Best Type of Cast Iron Pots

Some cooks simply love to cook with heavy pots and pans that have a traditional look and will last for years. And although both enamel cast iron and bare cast iron pots are heavy and provide that timeless look, it can be difficult to know which type to go for.

Seasoning

Bare cast iron kitchenware may look more rustic, traditional and ‘farmhouse-like’ than enamel cast iron. But it does require regular treating or ‘seasoning’ to prevent it from rusting, helping it to stay in top condition.

Although seasoning cast iron is relatively easy and quick – simply apply some fatty oil to the surface of the pan – it is, for some busy cooks, just another time-consuming chore they could do without. For other cooks, the process of seasoning their beloved cast iron cookware is a tireless ritual. They do it to help them remain at the top of their trade.

With enamel cast iron cookware, the bare metal is contained within a coating of powdered glass that has been melted before being baked onto the iron surface. This process eliminates the risks of the pan rusting, and therefore the need for the seasoning process. Isme’s Tefal Cookware collection has a huge range of cast iron pots, pans, casserole dishes and other essential kitchenware. Much of it is enamel-coated, preventing rusting and the need for seasoning.

Even and efficient

Made out of extremely thick quality iron, bare cast iron cookware is usually thicker than enamel alternatives, reducing hot spots and uneven heating. By heating and cooking food more evenly, bare cast iron is often considered to be a more efficient option.

Hold flavours

One of the main reasons many cooks opt for using bare cast iron cookware is because it efficiently holds in flavours. Enamelled options will lose the flavour from products such as onions and fish much quicker.

Searing food

If you intend to sear a lot of food over a high heat, bare cast iron will be a much more efficient material for your pots and pans. This is because, when placed over intense heat, enamelled iron can become damaged, limiting its effectiveness and practicality.

Look Of The Day - Floral Love and the sunshine

Look Of The Day - Floral Love and the Sunshine
The sun shines like an armor and fades away the gloomy darkness. I soak in the glistening sunshine that gives me the boost to rule the world. The lush green surroundings overshadow the mind numbing thoughts and the wind blowing past my hair empty the cluttered mind. We all have worries, complications and things that let us down. We all have times when we hit the rock bottom. But it is about how we stand tall and put up a front where the world does not know how vulnerable we can be. I might get drowned in emotions. I stumble, get distraught and can’t express my angst. But I wont let this feeling of trepidation and dejection hold me back.
Lately, I have been occupied with lot of college work and of course mood swings. Now, let me come to the outfit, I have teamed a high waist floral skirt with a black net top. To glam up the outfit I have accessorized with cuff and a collar necklace in golden hues. I completed the look with a tan bag. Here take a look.

About The Words That We Still Whisper

About The Words That We Still Whisper
So, finally here I am after attending the thought provoking Launch event of 18 again, a revolutionary product developed for the new age women for complete vaginal health.

I am sure all of you have a judgmental expression on your face and your reaction must be: "WHAT? WTF? OMG she is talking about VAGINA!" You might judge me but you cant deny the truth even if it makes you squirm. I know it was already getting heated up when I was live tweeting at the event. I don’t know about women but there are men who would still call you with names or fire at you. But let it be. Remember, you are a woman. You are prime.

This vagina tightening and rejuvenation gel (18 Again) comes with numerous benefits and is a complete health solution. A revolutionary product as the muscles get stronger and the ayurvedic and aroma products maintain the PH balance thus fighting the infections. You can read more here. You cannot deny that it is a part of your body that needs to be taken care of. It is about your health and hygiene. A health junkie like me would not go after publicity gimmick.

"It really denotes the total collapse of our Indian education system. It is a biological name for a part of the body over half this world’s population. And whether you like it or not, every single one of us had spent a first few months of our lives in very close proximity to it” said Mahabanoo Mody from the well known play Vagina Monologues. It is all in your mind. "We have become a country that has opened its legs and shut its mind” further added Mahabanoo Mody during the panel discussion that led the audience into a burst of laughter.

Have you wondered how a woman goes through various shades of life? Dolly Thakore from Vagina Monologues commented about her play, “How wrong we are about the sexuality. It touches every emotion in every woman and man. Women cling on to us and weep.”

It really intrigues me. Men can be oppressive as hell. People wear a veneer of sophistication in public with full of double standards. We live in the male chauvinist society where men have all the possible products for them. Today, women are open about their feminism. Even men use women products like fairness creams or tightening masks. At first most of you might be subdued about it. "Every women would embrace it and hide it surreptitiously," said the brand new mummy Celina Jaitly. You cannot deny that it is a part of your body that needs to be taken care of. It is about your health and hygiene. A health junkie like me would not go after a  publicity gimmick.

I am sure it will trigger your thought process. If you can call a condom why cant you accept the word 18 Again?  Yes, I think it is ready to be used and wont take decades to accept. You are an adult. You decide for yourself whether you make or break the rules.

We live in an age where we are free to choose our own lifestyle and the products. Their might be norms in the Indian society. Do not hold yourself. You have the right to be happy even if you hide it in your closet. It is about who you are and what you want to say.

P.S. I am not endorsing the product or even dejecting it! I am representing all the women out there. It is time for you to make a move, stand tall and live it up with panache.
